"we will do the werewolf from American
Werewolf. It wouldn't have been a smart move for us in the first series
because its going to be a box set and the retailers are being cautious
about this series in the beginning and don't want a box set right now. Sounds like exciting stuff to come from SOTA.

Now here's the way to really appeal to a cult fanbase Sideshow has got a 12-inch figure of "Millennium" lead character Frank Black now available for preorder over here. He's being produced as part of their X-Files line due to his guest appearance on that series. Head over and take a look at the detailed photos of your own personal Lance Henriksen. Want more Sideshow? How about a 12-inch fig of Wai Lin from James Bond's Tomorrow Never Dies? Or, if you've got a few hundred bucks to toss around, maybe there are some fancier options... like a new quarter-scale Alien Queen bust. Update for 7-13 SOTA is on a roll lately, and
definitely aiming to make a name for themselves as a major industry
player. First, they began with great licensed figures, and now they
are showing their creative side, with an amazing new take on an old
classic. Personally, I think this is one of those ideas you are amazed no one has come up with before now, and it's without a doubt, and great and creative concept.
Update for 7-8
Keep watching MovieManiacs.net for more info on Now Playing and other great SOTA toys.
Update for 7-3 The wait is over for tons of Alex Murphy fans around the world. After years of petitions and pleading, McFarlane has finally unveiled the Robocop Movie Maniac figure, and the sculpt on this bad boy looks positively fantastic. Robocop is the obvious highlight of Movie Maniacs 7, which was unveiled today right HERE. As we've previously reported however, it's fans of the 2003 remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre who really win out this time. The remaining figures revealed in today's collection of images are all from that film. So be sure to take a look at the all-new images of Leatherface, Erin, Sherrif Hoyt, Old Monty and the 12-inch Leatherface at that link. Unfortunately, the figure of Corporal Hicks from Aliens is not yet ready to be unveiled, but when it is, you can be sure we'll have the news. Easily the most controversial element of the new lineup is the inclusion of bases that are required in order to make the figures stand up. This design concept is similar to that of the two Matrix toy lines, which had many of the figures standing in "action" poses that required the use of bases to ground them. Good idea or bad idea? We'll let you decide for yourself.
Check out the August issue of Tomart's Action Figure Digest, and you may find a huge and impressive beast lurking on its cover. NECA's outstanding Epic Scale Balrog is featured with an in-depth look at its creation inside the mag. Go HERE to see the full cover image of this 2005 release.
Now it can be told there will be not one but two 18-inch figures of Captain Jack Sparrow coming our way from NECA. One is smiling and one is "serious," and each will have unique sound clips. You can get detailed specs on the figures, as well as a good look at the smiling version of Captain Jack, on the flyer HERE. Cheers to SlappyMcNasty for the tipoff.
Witch, computer geek, and disappointing facial sculpt Sideshow's 12-inch Willow figure is all of these things and more. Buffy fans can now get a good look at her and pre-order her HERE. Our cheers go out to MacBeth for the link.
Hey, got a little spare change? If you've got $845 to throw around, you could do a lot worse than ordering Sideshow's phenomenal life-size bust of the galaxy's greatest hunter. See more images and order up this bad boy HERE. Kudos to gooball for informing us.
The cenobytes are returning to shelves this summer, and NECA is here to help you get pumped by giving you the first look at the Hellraiser Series 3 blister cards. Go HERE for the fronts of the cards and HERE to see the backs.
Update for 6-30 The long wait is over, and the fans' prayers are answered. Dr. Loomis has a figure, NECA has created a new HALLOWEEN box set, and the end result is amazing. Last week, NECA explored the making of the Loomis figure and some concept drawings for the base before revealing the astonishing set in full a beautiful recreation of the Myers' house front porch, complete with a light-up pumpkin. CLICK HERE to see the final unveiling with even more images.
"That's Captain Jack Sparrow, if you please." As if the above news wasn't enough, NECA has also unleashed the first image of their talking 18-inch Captain Jack Sparrow figure. He's featured on the cover of the July issue of Lee's Toy Review and the inside of the mag explores the making of this much-anticipated figure! But if you want to see the full cover image from the magazine, you need only CLICK HERE.
Headed to San Diego this summer? Looking to get your hands on that sweet Necromonger warrior from the Riddick series? Or maybe you want that translucent Belthazor from the Charmed line?
