Chet, with McFarlane toys has let us know that the Chucky Figure and the Bride of Chucky boxed set will be delayed a few weeks after the regular line hits stores.
The reason for this is due to Universal Studios request to alter the figure Apparently the arms on Chucky were a bit too long and one of the hands was too big. McFarlane had the figure completed and ready to go, but had to make this last minute change at the studio's request.
The figure IS NOT by any means canceled though, it will still be released, just a few weeks later.

Dawn of the Dead Lives
Many of you who have written me wanting Zombies from any of the many Dead movies will be happy to know that TYCOON is making a line of figures from Dawn of the Dead.
Special thanks to
for the use of the pictures.
and special thanks to SEIKAN 4 for the above and Below info.
Killer new Headliners

This Pic also comes to us from
.
It's a shot of the Freddy Krueger Headliner from the San Diego common with a couple of familiar faces in the background. Directly behind Freddy and admiring himself in the mirror is good olla' Mike, and if you look at the right side of the pic you can make out a familiar knife that belongs to Ghostface.
If you're wondering who that is lurking behind Mike, my best guess is Riff Raff from the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
We are somewhat proud to say that we got a mention over at the official Halloween movies website; so we figured we'd return the favor and give them a mention as well. Even though they still acknowledge that there are films other than Halloween 1, 2, and H20, they still do a pretty good job!

Detailed New Pics!
Our good friend Entity AKA Air, has sent us a huge set of new pics of the Maniacs Carded. There are some good close ups and some details revealed.
Some of the more interesting are:
Michael Myers has EYES and the pumpkin he comes with is a very good likeness of the one seen in the opening credits of the film.
Pumpkinhead is Much Smaller in broadness than I originally thought. I expected him to be slightly smaller that Malebolgia or Violator 2 but he is really just a little bigger than most McFarlane figures. Still looks great though.
Chucky is from Child's Play 2, or at least that's the poster he comes with.
The Likenesses and paint Jobs on Norman and The Crow are EXCELLENT!
Ghostface IS called Ghostface on the package and he is much nicer looking than I originally thought.
The detail on everyone's respective knives is very close to how they looked in the films.
The side of the package refers to them as Feature Film Figures, instead of Ultra Action. Perhaps a sign of things to come.
Enough of this though, see for yourself.

FIRST REVIEW IN!
ENTITY posted this exciting message over at the Spawn Message board today.
To all fans,
Firstly, I AM NOT BOASTING about the fact that I already have my hands on the 6 carded figures. I am actually just one out of a 100 people here in SINGAPORE who got it today. We had our 1st Annual McFarlane Toys Exhibition / Fair at a local departmental store and the 'coup de Gras' of the opening day was 100 sets of MM2. I was told by the local distributor of MCA toys who was present at the fair that the MM2 toys debut in Singapore means that we are the 1st country to get them....go figure? Anyway, here's my review. I'm not as good as Socko or the other regular reviewers on the MB but, I will try my best.
I will review the toys from my least FAVE. MM2 fig to my most FAVE. -
SCREAM - GHOSTFACE : All black hooded figure with the trademark elongated chin white ghost
mask (black eyes and mouth). The brown/tan shoes are the only break from the monotony of
this so-so figure. Accessories included are 1) Cell phone with silver screen and buttons,
2) Machete knife - packed below the right arm of the figure. Articulation are at the neck,
shoulders, both elbows, wrists and waist.
HALLOWEEN - MICHAEL MYERS : He comes dressed in blue overalls / jumpsuit. Sculpted with a
slightly bent left knee. Face mask is Grey. Accessories include a 1) Jack O Lantern and a
2) thin handle butcher's knife - packed below the right arm of the figure. Articulation
are at the neck, shoulders, right elbow/forearm and wrists.
PUMPKINHEAD - PUMPKINHEAD : Huge and menacing is how I would describe this figure. He is
colored in a brownie, fleshy tone and comes with a bend tail (I think this is to help prop
the figure and should satisfy all of you who complain about MCA figures falling off your
shelves). He has NO accessories (unless you count long fingernails) and is articulated at
the neck, shoulders (ball jointed thinly), wrists and hips.
PSYCHO - NORMAN BATES : This figure surprised me COs I didn't think that it would look
good....and that it was also a fagot figure BUT, this figure stamps MCA's superiority on
sculpting and attention to detail ! Let me elaborate - the head/face sculpt is a DEAD ON
likeness of a youthful Anthony Perkins. He has BREASTS (filled in bra) underneath the blue
granny dress he wears....AND the sculptors actually took the time to include brown pants
underneath the dress. Now that's DETAILED ! He wears tan shoes and is packed with 1) thick
handled butcher's knife and a 2) Grey wig - packed below the right arm of the figure. He
is articulated at the neck, shoulders, right elbow, wrists and waist.
CHILD'S PLAY 2 - CHUCKY : Smaller than the rest of the figures in this series, he comes in
his trademark denim jumper and striped t-shirt. He has red rooted hair and a maniacal
sneer on his freckled face. The outfit he's wearing looks dirty and you can barely make
out a faded 'Good Guys' sign on chest part of the jumper. He is packed with only a knife
BUT it is a REALLY LONG KNIFE (looks bigger than the knives of the rest of the figures).
Articulated at the neck, shoulders, waist and wrists.
THE CROW - ERIC DRAVEN : THIS IS MY FAVE.!
Another dead on head sculpt, dressed in all black with shiny black paint depicting tape
around his lower torso. His upper torso has bullet holes and rips on the shoulders.
Accessories include 1) A HUGE CROW in flight packed on the upper right shoulder of the
figure, 2) Black circular stand to help Eric stand and a 3) black electric guitar with
silver colored strings. He is articulated at the neck, shoulders wrists and hips.
OK folks, that's it. Me fingers are tired from all this typing. I hope that the above info
helps and to all....happy hunting !
In case you're wondering where my review for the Chuck / Bride of Chucky 2 pack is ?....there ain't one yet as the Deluxe Box set was yet to be released. I was told early September.
-Entity-
Entity also mentions that they do come with the poster stands yet again and they are an identical design to the first ones.
Thanks A lot Man!
If anyone spots the Maniacs in stores or gets them, please send your input in. We may use it on the page.

Now how could we go through a Friday the 13th without having an update.
First, The Toy Fair Picture Archive has been put back up by popular demand. Thank to all of you who wrote and sent in Pictures.
Secondly, our good friend Chet from McFarlane toys has reported a variation to us for those of you looking for the Oz. Ozborne Action figure. It seems that you will be able to find the figure at Toys R Us, but it will not include Doves, just bats. The price should be cheaper than most places though. It is kind of like the PG maniac version if you will. For those who haven't seen it, it is a great looking action figure with a great diorama style background included!
Also out now are the Spawn Dark Ages series 2 figures. I personally recommend the Scarlet Edge (Mandarin Spawn) figure. It is one of THE BEST figures I have ever seen produced by McFarlane and a true work of art.
SHERI with McFarlane Toys has said that she will send me some pics of the Cards for the new Maniacs as soon as the Digital Camera is operational again, which shouldn't be too long. I would like to personally thank Sheri for this seeing as how she is a very sweet lady and is finding time to help us out while dealing with her demanding Duties at the McFarlane message board and offices.
Lastly, Our good friend Mark has spoken with Chet from McFarlane toys, and he has cleared up the version question as it pertains to Series 2.
There will NOT be 2 versions and none of the figures will have blood on their clothes since it isn't really warranted with any of them. Blood will appear on weapons and such if necessary though.
Happy Friday the 13th to Everyone! Stay out of the woods!

Accessories make the figure.
This is the latest word on the figures Accessories.
MICHAEL MYERS: Knife, Jack O'Lantern
CHUCKY (regular): Knife, real rooted hair
GHOSTFACE: Knife, Cell phone
THE CROW: Guitar, Crow
NORMAN BATES: Knife, removable Wig
PUMPKINHEAD: None (Cause he's freakin' huge!)
As for the Bride Of Chucky Boxed set, it looks as if the baby has been scrapped! I am disappointed in this as well, but it all comes down to cost.
Spare Parts
New Pics of the Leatherface Headliner have been added to the HEADLINERS page.

One Step Ahead of the rest.
Equity Toys, makers of HEADLINERS has recently been producing Larger versions of their Popular small toys mainly geared to the sports field. They have been branching out lately however and have created larger, numbered versions of such great characters as Austin Powers and Dr. Evil, and now Freddy, Jason, and Leatherface.
I have to tell you, these things are really top notch! The detail and paint job is superb and they are just amazing to look at. They are truly a MUST HAVE for any Fan of these guys!
I picked mine up at a comic shop recently but I have since seen them at Media Play stores as well. You can also possibly look for them in Spencer gifts, Suncoast, and maybe Toys R Us, but these are as yet unconfirmed.
A Ghostface Headliner was planned but it's whereabouts are unknown at this time. We will try to keep you updated with the latest news on this great new line as well.
